Please note the following important dates:
  • Oral presentations will be selected from abstracts received before May 10, 2020.
  • Participants selected for an oral presentation will be notified by May 24, 2020.
  • Abstracts accepted by August 1, 2020 will be included in the abstract book.

Please follow the instructions carefully and include all requested information. All submissions must be in English. Participants will not be allowed more than one oral presentation but may be listed as a co-author of several abstracts.

All abstracts are subject to approval by the Scientific Committee and will be published in the programme book, subject to the author’s confirmation of presenting the paper and registering as a paid delegate.


Step 0. Create an account with Ex Ordo abstract submission system:

Step 1. Format. Select "Oral" or " Poster". If "Oral" is chosen, abstracts not selected for oral presentations will be considered for poster presentations.

Step 2. Title & Abstract. Abstracts are limited to 500 words or less. One key figure may be uploaded per submission (for reviewers and programme book).

Step 3. Authors. Enter authors and their affiliations. All co-author’s email addresses must be included. You must also designate “corresponding authors” and “presenting authors”.

Step 4. Topics. Choose up to 2 topics that accurately categorize your abstract. These topics will be used to place your abstract in an appropriate session. We advise against selecting "Other" as a topic but if this is chosen, please provide up to 10 keywords when prompted in Step 5.

Step 5. Additional Information. Indicate type of submission and type of presenting author. Enter a maximum of 10 keywords that describe your submission (if you selected "Other" as a Topic). Use commas to separate them.

NOTE: Upon completion of Step 5, click on Done: Save Submission to submit your abstract. You and any co-authors will receive an official abstract submission receipt by email after 15 minutes. During this time, you have the option to withdraw, delete or edit your submission.

If your abstract is selected for an oral presentation, you will be notified with an acceptance email no later than May 24, 202. Those who are selected for an oral presentation will be required to submit their PowerPoint files no later than August 19, 2020. Instructions will be provided. Authors giving oral presentations should be prepared to present for a maximum of 15 minutes which will be followed by 5 minutes of Q&A.


All presenters must register and pay for the conference no later than July 24, 2020. Presentation slots are limited and cancellations prohibit others from presenting their findings. Thank you for being considerate.
